Employing hardware logic gates, it effectively implements the transport and network layers of the TCP/IP protocol stack, encompassing protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, ARP, IGMP, Pepo, among others.
  2. Integrated with a data link layer, physical layer, and 32K bytes of on-chip RAM for data transcribing buffer, it significantly reduces the workload of the host computer’s main control chip. This translates to minimized processing tasks related to data copying, protocol handling, and interrupt processing, thereby enhancing system utilization and reliability.
