Description
The MFRC522 RFID Module is a low-cost and highly efficient RFID reader/writer for 13.56 MHz contactless communication. It’s widely used in embedded systems for RFID-based security and access control applications such as attendance systems, smart door locks, and automation projects. This kit includes an RFID card and a key fob, allowing easy integration into your projects right out of the box.
The module uses the MFRC522 IC by NXP, which supports ISO/IEC 14443 A/MIFARE protocols. It communicates via SPI, I2C, or UART, though SPI is the most commonly used method due to its speed and reliability.
Key Features
It uses the advanced modulation system, fully integrated at 13.56MHz with all kinds of positive non-contact communication protocols.
Multi-Protocol Support – Communicates using SPI, I2C, or UART interfaces.
Support 14443A compatible answer signal. DSP deal with ISO14443A frames and error correction.
MFRC 522 RFID MODULE WITH RF CARD AND FOB
RC522 – RFID Reader features an outstanding modulation and demodulation algorithm to serve effortless RF communication at 13.56 MHz.
