Description

LM3914 Logarithmic LED Dot or Bar Display Driver 18 Pin IC

This is a monolithic IC. It is used in visualizing audio signals. This IC can drive both 10 segment bar LED and Dot Matrix LED. It can control (turn on or off) 10 LED lights based on an analog input voltage of the audio signal. This IC contains an adjustable voltage reference and an accurate ten-step voltage divider. The LM3914 is extremely easy to apply. This IC eliminates the need for microcontrollers and programming. And also reduces the hardware required to control 10 LEDs.
