  1. This product is a black YF-S201 Water Flow Meter Measurement Sensor that can measure water flow from 1 to 30 litres per minute. It has a pinwheel sensor inside the water line that rotates as the water flows through it. A magnetic hall effect sensor detects the rotation and sends an electrical pulse for each revolution. The hall effect sensor is isolated from the water pipe, so it stays dry and safe.
  2. You can calculate the water flow by counting the pulses from the sensor. Each pulse corresponds to about 2.25 millilitres of water.
  3. Please note that this sensor is not very accurate, and the pulse rate may vary depending on the flow rate, fluid pressure, and sensor orientation. You will need to calibrate it carefully if you need more than 10% precision. However, it is suitable for basic measurement tasks!
